Cabbage, Carrot and Sesame Salad
A crisp and refreshing salad made with shredded cabbage and carrots, tossed in a light sesame dressing. Nutty, crunchy, and vibrant, it’s a perfect side dish with an Asian-inspired twist.

Ingredients

Ingredients (4 servings):

1 tablespoon sesame seeds

4 cups shredded savoy cabbage

2 large carrots, peeled, grated

1/3 cup low fat mayonnaise

Instructions

Method:

Heat a small frying pan over medium heat. Add sesame seeds. Cook, stirring, for 2 to 3 minutes or until golden. Transfer to a plate.

Place cabbage and carrot in a large bowl. Add dressing and two-thirds of the sesame seeds. Toss to combine.

Top with remaining sesame seeds.

Serve.
