Insulin

When a normal person eats a piece of bread, potato, chips or any high carbohydrate food it goes into the stomach and into the small intestine where it is broken down to glucose, which is what your body need as fuel.

Blood Sugar related problems such as…

  • High Blood Sugar (Hyperglycemia)
  • Low Blood Sugar (Hypoglycemia)
  • Cravings
  • Overweight / Obesity
  • Insulin Resistance (Pre-Diabetes)
  • PCOS
  • Candida
  • Diabetes Type-2
  • ADHD

…are not diseases, but SYMPTOMS of Poor Insulin Management.

To manage Insulin properly, you MUST understand how blood sugar and insulin work.
When a normal person eats a piece of bread, potato, chips or any high carbohydrate food it goes into the stomach and into the small intestine where it is broken down to glucose, which is what your body need as fuel.

The glucose goes through the walls of the small intestine and into the blood where it is called “blood glucose”. This is what is measured in a blood test, but glucose on itself cannot be dealt with by the body without insulin.
Insulin is a hormone released by the pancreas, and it transports the glucose to the cells until all the glucose in the blood is stored.

The energy in the cells is burned as fuel until the next time you eat. This process is repeated over and over from meal to meal.

The problem:

We consume way too many carbohydrates (flour products – bread, cookies, muffins and starches – potatoes, rice, pasta, etc.), which causes our blood sugar to fluctuate too much between meals.

Our bodies adapt to a high carbohydrate intake and whenever we eat, the pancreas releases more insulin than necessary. After the insulin has done its job, there is still insulin left in the blood.
Insulin left in the blood does a few things: It causes sugar and carbohydrate cravings. This is one of the major issues why we can’t burn fat, because when insulin is in the blood we don’t have any energy coming from the blood because there is no sugar to burn as fuel, and we also cannot access the cells where energy is stored as fat, because the cells cannot release energy while the insulin is trying to force more energy into them.

What is Insulin Resistance (Pre-Diabetes) then?

As said, the function of insulin is to open up the cells to store the glucose, but as there is too much in the blood, these cells get tired to be bathed in it all the time and then become resistant and the next time the insulin wants to store glucose, the cells refuse it, so the sugar and insulin stay in the bloodstream.

Insulin Resistance causes…

It also causes Low Blood Sugar (Hypoglycemia), because it drives the blood sugar levels too low. Our brains need a certain amount of glucose to function and when the levels are too low, we cannot function properly. We can’t think normal, cannot concentrate, feel tired, irritable or sleepy because the brain is not fed.

The presence of insulin in the blood completely prevents you from burning fat.

Glucose starts to back up in the bloodstream, but the body can manage this for a certain time, by turning the glucose into fat. This is not a natural pathway, but it is forced to happen.

High triglycerides, because of the fat build-up in the blood. (Thus, high triglycerides are almost always linked to a high carbohydrate diet)

Metabolic Syndrome, which has a bunch of different symptoms such as hormonal problems, like…
High Estrogen and High Testosterone, which cause women to get bald and men to grow breasts and beer bellies.
Estrogen also causes weight gain, which develops fat cells.
Fat cells manufacture their own estrogen, which causes weight gain – a vicious circle.

To summarise why you don’t lose weight or burn fat is…

Insulin is the blood that prevents you any access to burning fat as fuel.
Glucose backing up in the bloodstream and the body converts the glucose to fat.
Estrogen levels cause fat gain and this creates extra fat cells.

Most people have Hypoglycemia and Insulin Resistance but some just have Insulin Resistance

This progression is normally the front runner of type 2 Diabetes, where the build-up of glucose in the blood forces the pancreas to produce more insulin until the pancreas can’t cope anymore.

Therefore, all insulin and blood sugar related symptoms like Type 2 Diabetes, Insulin Resistance, PCOS, Candida, Obesity, etc. can be reversed, but it does not happen overnight, it is a process.

Who can use Manna Blood Sugar Support?

Type 2 Diabetics

The main cause of type 2 diabetes is constant fluctuating & high blood sugar levels. By using Manna Blood Sugar Support, we can ensure the blood sugar levels stay within the normal range and thus manage type 2 diabetes effectively.

Those seeking to lose weight

Overeating, the leading cause of weight gain, is often driven by unbalanced blood glucose levels. Rapid spikes and crashes in blood sugar - caused by eating the wrong foods - trigger hunger and cravings, while stable levels help control appetite and reduce food intake.

PCOS Sufferers

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) often occurs alongside Syndrome X, a condition linked to diabetes risk. Since PCOS increases the likelihood of developing diabetes, routine screening is recommended for early detection and treatment. This product supports stable blood glucose levels.

People with High Cholesterol

Consistently high blood sugar - especially in uncontrolled diabetes - increases the risk of high LDL (bad) cholesterol, low HDL (good) cholesterol, and artery damage. Maintaining stable blood sugar is key to preventing unhealthy cholesterol levels.

Those suffering from Low Blood Sugar

Low Blood Sugar (hypoglycemia) can happen for several reasons, including diet, some medications and conditions, and exercise. Keeping your blood glucose levels stable with this supplement can help to prevent a sharp drop in blood glucose levels.

Those with ADHD

Stable blood sugar supports better focus and behavior in children and sustained energy in adults. For those with ADHD, low-GI foods like protein and complex carbs are ideal - making Manna Blood Sugar Support an effective supplement for maintaining balanced glucose levels.

Pregnant / Breastfeeding Women

The Manna Blood Sugar Support supplement is one of the few natural products which is 100% safe and beneficial for mother and child during pregnancy and while breast feeding.

Children

Children as young as 2 years old can start to use the Manna Blood Sugar Support supplement, because it is 100% safe and regarded as a whole food.
