These spicy mushrooms are a delicious side dish to go with grilled chicken or lamb.
Ingredients (serves 4):
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 500g cup mushrooms, quartered
- ½ teaspoon dried chilli flakes
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- Pinch ground turmeric
Method:
- Heat oil in a large frying pan over high heat. Add mushroom. Cook, stirring, for 5 minutes or until golden and tender.
- Add chili, garlic, oregano and turmeric. Cook, stirring, for 1 minute or until fragrant.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve.
